Some of us are getting closer to Kara, I'd love for us to be able to start raiding sometime in the near future. Bk has her kara key, I know Rey & Ratch are one instance away...Shal & Chil are close, guessing Soul and Storm might have theirs too. Anyway, I found this site with kara info...might give us an idea of where we are and what we need to get going. :)

What?? Another post??

Sigh...yes, posting again, come on someone else post for a change. :) So been another busy week for MoD.

First, we got our arena team up and running...okay up and dying. :) We came up against all teams from pvp realms, ouch! We were able to slaughter one team in our matches, but you know MoD we don't give up!

Gratz to Allix, Eps and Nam for making the big leap to OL!! Can't wait to do BF and ramparts with ya! Gratz to Chil and Stetal for getting their UB heroic keys! (Shal and Ratch just need one more SV run for theirs!) Gratz to Rey and Bk for getting their Auchenai heroic keys! And awesome job to everyone for all their hard work, I see toons leveling like crazy in the guild...nice!

This past week we have done lots more instances...shattered halls (twice), Seth halls (a ton!), Shadow labs and Old Hillsbrad (dang can that Thrall run!). Chil, Rey, Stet, Ratch and BK all started the quest for their Kara keys, we've all finished the first fragment of the key...I think it's just 3 more quests til it's complete. :) Bk also got brave, with encouragement from Rey, and ran her first heroic SP...she earned 3 badges of justice! Was neat and scary to be in an heroic for the first time, though I know many more are on the way for MoD! We also did the quests to start getting dailys in Ogri'la...very ugly things all died! :) After we finished the chain it was really fun cause about 50 ogres all came to bow down to us, all dancing and drinking and saying things like "Hail King Stetal" and "Bk is to pretty to be da Queen" /blush.

We've been working on getting our "Dungeon 3" sets....pieces drop from bosses in 70 instances. Bk has gotten all but her gloves and helm...so thought I'd show ya a pic of her all purple'd out, with the set and Rey's awesome heal enchants she has her heal bonus over 1300 now! woot!!

Arena Banners...and all that

KK...team is waiting registration because I need help choosing a banner. Soooo...pick your favorite one! Pick an icon, a border and a color...mix and match if you have to! Please!! :)

Crypts...pfft!

Woot! We finished the crypts in 1.5 hours...yes!! The eyeball went down first try, there were no team wipes, really only the squishy priest died twice, course once she got wacked by Haw! :) The final boss was no match for us and we pounded him into the pavement. On to CoT. :D Keep voting on those arena names, I hope to get this team together before Friday! Kisses to all you big strong men who protect us cloth wearing women!

MoD gets dirty!

Usually in more ways than one! :) Here we are running Nam through Mauradon, someone needs to clean out the sewers more often! Anyway...guess I should make more little posts, always ends up being a long boring update. So we've done a lot of instances...including Mana-tombs and the crypts.

Big kudos to everyone for all the leveling going on, we have tons of toons in their middle ages! Allix, Eps and Nam are all heading to Outland pretty soon. Awesome Congratz to all our new 70's...Ratchit, Hawwga, Chil & Reynne! Reynne and Bkuz earned their first heroic keys! Woot!!

Now for some guild business, Bkuz will hit 70 this week and you know what that means...yes, it's time for the MoD arena team to form! We're signing up for a 5v5 (it's last man standing), so we need min of 5 people-max people is 10, you have to be level 70. I was going to include a link to the arena info but wow is redoing the site. :( If you go to www.worldofwarcraft.com and look under player vs player: arena you will find all the info you need. What we need is a cool name!! So please add your suggestions here!

Tonight I will be running toons through SFK (levels 18-25) probably around 7 p.m. pacific time...log on and we'll get you through. Allix, Eps and Nam are hitting Sunken Temple on Saturday (not sure of the time) think they have room for one more if you need it. And someone else post a blog...you all are getting sick of hearing me blab blab! :) Also, special hugs to Allix for showing me the /nosepick emote, was able to use it on an annoying NE who gave me the /spit for killing all the mobs (not my fault he's slow!). Worked so well he flagged himself. :) Poor poor mistaken ally.

Heya 8)

Havent seen a new post on here in almost a month so I figured I would post a few screenies of what ive been up to since I left WoW. The first pic is at Lion's Arch in Guild Wars. The cape on the back denotes which guild you belong to (sorta like WoW's tabards. In this case that guild is Final Destruction - a remake of a 2001 Everquest guild of mine. The second shot is same location only a frontal pic of beautiful Shwick Opotamus. No idea who that is 8).

Is it breezy?

Reynne and Bkuz made it to Outlands!! Woot! Our nice quest givers gave us all new gear, it was awesome. Sadly it seems there's some sort of cloth shortage in OL so they didn't finish some of it. :) Big thanks to everyone whose help us with instances so far...now on to the big ones. :) Shal and Hawwga helped us do Hellfire Ramparts last night, it was awesome! Everyone did a great job and some much needed rep was earned. We are looking to run it again just for rep if anyone is interested or we do have Blood Furnace on the docket too! Let me knew if your interested in doing these. Great job on the leveling all.

p.s. Bkuz is now cutting green gems, if you would like some cut mail them to me with the stats you prefer and I'll get them done for ya. :)

Tea...with a side of dwarf

Taking a break from the slaughter of thousands of dwarfs- Hawwga, Aysen, Rey and Bkuzudi stopped for Tea (Shal was afk with diaper duty...lol) Black Rock Depths was a fun run for everyone...yes it's a bit long , we managed to clear out the first round of quests. Afterall...the only good dwarf, is a dead dwarf! :)

Thought this pic might give you all a laugh, after some pot in tanaris (hugs not drugs, kids!) I was shrunk to mini-me! I ran around for 10 mins. having some fun..even my mount was itty bitty.

Some random things...

So many things happening to the guild over the last month and I've been lacking on the posting....here's a few of the highlights!

Congratulations to Aysen for winning the June drawing and Ratchit for winning the July drawing!! For all those wondering what this is...every month we draw for 50g, all main toons (who have logged on that month) get 10 numbers entered automatically, if you donate money to the guild bank you get an extra 10 numbers for each gold donated. At the end of the month we assign numbers to each toon and do a roll for the winning number!

Also, we are very excited to welcome Hawwga (rage), Daag and Vimoonbeam to the guild! These are awesome players that Shal, Chan and I have played with on CoH for years and we are glad they have joined MoD. If you see any of them on say hello and introduce yourself!

In the last month MoD has knocked out tons of instances, including some of the higher level ones...Slave pens, Auchenai Crypts and Mana tombs. Some of our lowbies have done RFK, SM, Uldaman, SKF, WC and even RFD which was a new one for me. Coming up in the next few weeks...Uldaman (again) and Caverns of Time, which none of us have attempted yet! Also, due to the hard work of the guild we have lots of new toons headed toward 70! I forsee lots of heroic instances and raids in our future. :) We've also been knocking some Elites around...Chan, Shal, Main and I took out a world dragon, some 70 elites in SMV and Hawwga joined us for some Elite bashing!

Last but not least...if you have a quest that's to hard, an item you need for a quest, just wanna do something fun...please ask, working together we can do anything! Okay...maybe not kill that world dragon in Darkshire...but still. lol

Congratulations Chanina!!

A congratulations out to Chanina who dinged in real life today. Happy Birthday to our favorite Warrior Princess!! Hope your day is terrific and filled with happy memories. Eat a piece of cake for us.

Uncovered!

Yes, it's finally out in the open...the big MoD secret!! There I was just walking through the slave pens when all of a sudden I came upon this....I was in shock. It seems our very own Chanina and Stetal have been having a secret relationship! Caught in the act they tried to pretend like they were just hanging out killing Bog Lords, but I think we all know better!

Shal, Chanina, Main, Stetal and Ky all ran the SP this weekend (Yes! I got to wear the cuffs)...a fun time was had by all...well probably not the bosses we tromped, but you can't make everyone happy. Was nice to do a high level instance and live :) Next on the list Auchindon and Mana tombs...beware MoD is coming for you!

End of the Shwickening

Heya guys

This is my official announcement of retirement from Warcraft and this version of Method of Destruction. In the future, as in the past, there may be other reincarnations of MoD, of which I may decide to lead or not. After 7 years of vigorous online gaming and borderline gaming addiction (seriously) I am just done with it for now. At one point during these last 7 years I was averaging -- AVERAGING 16 hours per day of online gaming. I can honestly remember a few days in the EQ days where Vegiwhoppa and myself didnt sleep at all (such as camping for his cleric Epic 1.0). Was offered a fairly good offer for my account so if anyone sees Shwick in action on Moonrunner it IS NOT me. Shalaman will be removing the rest of my alts shortly as I did not have time to get them all. Azlinn as far as I know is not leaving WoW. Have to admit ive been trying to quit WoW for over a year now, and every time I had gotten close to actually doing it something else would keep coming up, but I finally cant put it off any longer. I have grown over last few months to just dread logging in at all and it has nothing to do with you all, in fact the guildies are the only reason I did log in at all last few months. I greatly enjoyed the time I had with all of you, and enjoyed watching you all grow into fierce and strong guildies. I have no doubts MoD will continue to evoke fear in the minds of others less fortunate enough to get in your way. I am always available on email as always (happydude111@hotmail.com) and I do already have most of your email addresses anyway. Special note to Selira > You were right 3 weeks ago LOL, as usual.

I know some of you probably wont understand all my reasons and I am sorry if anyone feels "abandoned" by me. However, I left my own blood in my stead as I would never let anything terrible happen to the guild or the guildies. I feel there is very strong leadership remaining in MoD and the ability to grow quite far if desired.

On the quest for the Epic Mount

Stetal had begun the Netherdrake epic mount quests and that got me fired up to get started as well. I want to thank Stetal again for helping me out last night. We are both up the group quest against Zuluhed the Whacked. I've read a lot of interesting tactics to beat him. Some have done it with 2-man groups and others with 4-man groups. What I get from it all is that it can be done with some planning. Below are the list of quests to get started which were posted on www.wowhead.com. I added some comments from what I experienced and the tips Stetal had given me for the quests.

If anyone is interested in doing these quests or just want to get a good pounding in on Zuluhed, please let me or Stetal know. We can pick a day to do it. After that it's a lot of saving for the the epic riding lessons. If people were interested, we could help each other get to neutral. It seems two weeks is the time frame for completing the entire quest line if you keep at it. Once I have the gold for the epic riding lessons, I will put this to the test and post my results.

How to get Neutral with Netherdrake (Netherdrake Epic Mount Quest Starter)

1. Kindness-Pick this quest up from Mordenai. He wanders the Netherwing fields near the Sanctum of the Stars but not hard to find. He's usually fighting the Rocknails.
- Kill 8 Rocknail Flayers, Use Carcasses to Feed 8 Dragons (don't move!). Try to target the Rocknail Flayers. They drop full carcasses as the smaller rocknails drop giblets. You need 5 giblets to make one carcass.

2. Seek Out Neltharaku
- Fly on your mount and find Neltharaku, he patrols slowly around Dragonmaw about a few hundred feet up. You'll have to be a few yards UNDER him to talk to him. I rotated my camera up in order to select him.

- Listen to story.

- Kill 15 of any type of orcs in the fortress.

- Find 12 Crystals from the floating island SE of the mainland. Miners will get indicators marking the crystals. Watch for the lvl70+ elites walking around and the flying mobs above the island.

- Free 5 Dragons by using the crystal item from Neltharaku on them, then killing the orcs they aggro.

Shwick and Azlinn missing in action

Heya guys - Azlinn and myself, Shwicky, are going to take a few more days off Warcraft for some fierce LAN gaming showdowns we havent been able to get to all year. We have, however, finished with the boys room and the girls room, and have done the demo for the bathroom renovation. I still need finish the GINORMOUS planters out front but it is over 105 degrees almost all day now outside so putting that off. Will see everyone again in a few days or so. Kick some alli butt for us !!

Woot!!

Well it took a lot of pvp but Kyllen is finally riding in style! :) I have to say while I enjoy a little bit of pvp I was getting a bit tired of it by the end. Plus, one match we had 13 (yes 13!!) people afk...it's very frustrating to be out there working your butt off while so many people earn free honor. Bizz needs to come up with a way that they auto DC if they haven't done anything after a few mins, it's insane! BTW, donations are now being taken for the Kyllen is broke fund...lol
